Want to pull YouTube Data into Google Sheets?

I completed a fun project to achieve that.

Here are a few functions I developed that connect your sheets with YouTube:

π—œπ— π—£π—’π—₯π—§π—©π—œπ——π—˜π—’: Get details of YouTube videos using their URLs.
π—œπ— π—£π—’π—₯π—§π—¦π—˜π—”π—₯𝗖𝗛: Extract search results for any given term.
π—œπ— π—£π—’π—₯π—§π—–π—›π—”π—‘π—‘π—˜π—Ÿ: Access details of YouTube channels by their names.
π—œπ— π—£π—’π—₯π—§π—–π—›π—”π—‘π—‘π—˜π—Ÿπ—©π—œπ——π—˜π—’π—¦: Retrieve videos from specific channels.
π—œπ— π—£π—’π—₯π—§π—–π—’π— π— π—˜π—‘π—§π—¦: Pull comments from YouTube videos.

These functions leverage the YouTube Data API to pull information easily.

Here is a demo of how the functions work:

If you want to use these custom functions, you can copy the sheet using the button below.

Next, follow this short video to initialize it. You’re ready to go.

I wrote a post for each one of the custom functions where I explained how I developed them. If you are interested in the logic behind them, that’s something you would want to check. Click on the function name in the list above to learn more.
